Reference: Scotch® 23 Rubber Splicing Tape (Scotch™ 23). Manufacturer: 3M. Use: Primary electrical insulation for cable splicing from 600 V to 69 kV. Rebuilding cable insulation. Making sealing boots around cables and various conduits. Highly conformable self-amalgamating tape based on ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR). Can be stretched up to 100% for void-free, moisture-resistant insulation. Designed to withstand continuous temperatures up to 90 °C (194 °F).
